Overnight Care

Overnight care can be an alternative to 24 hour car or live-in care, where family caregivers may be able to handle the day time caring.

It can be used as part of an on-going care plan, but it is also a popular short term option while recovering from surgery or a medical issue at home.  Many families use it as respite care if they will be away for the night

We are flexible in our scheduling to meet your needs. Common schedules for overnight senior care range from 8 - 12 hour shifts each night, most commonly 11:00 pm - 7:00 am or 8:00 pm - 8:00 am.

Our Overnight Care Services Include:

  • Ambulation assistance and transferring

  • Re-orienting Alzheimer's and dementia patients who are sundowning

  • Assistance to the bathroom

  • Companionship and calming anxiousness

  • Monitoring to prevent falls

You can reach out to your local HomeHealth24x7® coordinator with any questions you have about overnight care for your loved one.   We will compare your needs to the qualifications, experience, and personality of our carers, to find the ideal person to assist.
